Healing Breath offers gentle breathwork and body-based sessions in Gillingham, Medway and across Kent for people who feel stuck in stress, anxiety, overwhelm or emotional exhaustion.

These responses are often the body’s way of trying to protect you after spending too long under stress or pressure.

This work is not about being calm all the time or trying to force change.

The nervous system is designed to move through different states in response to life. Problems tend to happen when we get stuck in stress, overwhelm, anxiety, numbness or shutdown for long periods of time.

Using conscious connected breathwork and nervous system-informed bodywork, sessions are designed to gently help your system become more flexible and supported, so you can move through life with more ease and spend less time stuck in survival patterns.

The focus is on safety, pacing and working with your body, not against it.

Over time, this can help you feel more present, emotionally connected, resilient, and better able to respond to life without becoming overwhelmed by it.

When Your Nervous Systems Feels Overwhelmed

This isn’t a lack of effort or awareness.

When the body has been under pressure for a long time, it naturally adapts through survival patterns, ways of coping that once helped you get through, but may now feel limiting, overwhelming, or exhausting.

This work isn’t about being calm or regulated all the time. Our nervous system isn't designed to stay in one state.

It’s about building more flexibility and capacity within the nervous system, so you can move through life with greater ease, recover more easily from stress, and spend less time feeling stuck in overwhelm, shutdown, or disconnection.

Over time, this can help you feel more present, more connected to yourself, and more able to respond to life rather than simply react to it.

My Approach

My work is trauma-informed, meaning sessions are guided at your pace, with a strong focus on safety, respecting boundaries, supportive, consent, and nervous system awareness.

Breathwork Has Changed How I Navigate Life

My Quality of Life Has Improved

I was living in 'survival mode' for the majority of my life without realising it, feeling disconnected from my body, wearing a mask that showed the outside world I was managing, but my inner world was a different story. My nervous system was living in the familiarity of 'fight/flight', based on my dysfunctional upbringing.

I experienced anxiety, tension, and feeling on edge, without fully understanding why. My behavioural patterns showed in my relationship with money and being a spendaholic, having unhealthy relationship dynamics, being a workaholic and having low emotional intelligence.

Training as a Breathwork and Bodywork has given me a new lease of life and a healthier relationship with my body, mind and spirit. Every day I spend time learning and listening to what my body signals to me every day, using the many practices that I've learnt and continue to learn in my skills to hold space for others. Whether it's a 1:1 setting, group work or wellbeing events.

All the experiences that I've been trained in for the last 2 years has helped shape how I work today.

Sessions are guided responsively according to your needs on the day and may include conscious connected breathing, grounding practices, somatic awareness, restorative support, nervous system regulation, and body-based therapeutic approaches.

Private Practice Sessions - Private practice sessions are available at:

£100 — 90 minute session

Please note that private practice sessions are subject to room availability, as therapeutic spaces are privately hired in advance for each booking.

Home Visit Sessions - Sessions in your home are available where appropriate.

Online Sessions - Online sessions take place via Jitsi Meet.
